Pillow Fight Maternity Session
We have been programmed to feel like having our picture taken is a heck of a stressful time. That we need to pose, freeze and stay still in front of a camera. That we need to pretend and look perfect – not one hair out of place. What if I tell you that you can throw that concept out the window…
This maternity session was a spark of creativity. In the midst of last winter, Sabrina and Maurice were expecting their first baby. From the moment I met them, I loved their connection! You know those couples that you see and think, ‘they are so cute together’, that was them.
Pillow Fight
What is a better way to create natural smiles than actually having fun, so we decided to have a pillow fight. It was obvious from the beginning who was losing and who was winning this fight. I personally adored the way that Maurice gently played LOL.
There is no need to pretend during my sessions, I always help you by guiding you, giving you ideas, and making sure you look smokin’ hot. But you bring the connection, your own effervescent and unique personality. Let’s look at these shots!
The idea was also to capture some sweet, intimate, raw moments between them.
The language of skin-to-skin is so deep and unspoken. It is
bold, powerful, sweet and tender, all at the same time. The connection and the
peace emerging from these images is simply their love for each other. We
can do the same for you, but for the record, you don’t always need to show skin
to capture beautiful personal images. Wardrobe is based on what you are
comfortable in.
There is something extremely beautiful about bringing fun and unique ideas to life. This set was created at my home studio located in Stoney Creek, Hamilton, and it is available upon request. The use of the studio and the client closet is available when you book a photo session with me. You can reach out for dates between January to May 2026*
